My name is Shubham Mathur. I’m a masters student studying mechanical engineering at NC State University. Specializing in regenerative medicine and rehabilitation engineering, I graduated with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the Lampe Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University. I am graduating in December with an M.S. in mechanical engineering, further specializing in medical device research and development, while taking courses focused on medical device design. I am passionate about new innovations in medical devices and using engineering to advance healthcare for patients. My particular interests include but are not limited to kidney technology innovation, endovascular technology, surgical devices, cardiology, and prosthetic development.
